Payment Methods
Fund your vault with a credit card or USDC on Base — whichever suits your estate planning workflow.
Payment Methods
Inheribase supports three parallel payment channels to accommodate both traditional estate planners and crypto-native users. Both result in the same outcome: Vault Credits deposited to your account, available immediately.
Card Payments (Polar / Stripe)
For users who prefer standard financial instruments, Inheribase integrates with Polar.sh (which utilizes Stripe securely under the hood) to provide institutional-grade fiat merchant processing.
Supported Methods
| Payment Method | Processor | Availability |
|---|---|---|
| Visa / Mastercard / Amex | Stripe | Worldwide |
| Apple Pay | Stripe | iOS, macOS Safari |
| Google Pay | Stripe | Android, Chrome |
How It Works
- Navigate to Settings → Credits in your dashboard
- Enter your desired top-up amount (minimum $5.00)
- Choose Pay with Card
- Complete checkout through Polar's secure payment interface
- Vault Credits are deposited to your account instantly upon payment confirmation
Minimum Deposit Notice. While crypto deposits support lower thresholds, Card Payments (Polar) require a minimum deposit of $20.00 to cover third-party processing overhead and ensure protocol sustainability.
Why is there a minimum? This threshold ensures that your deposit translates into meaningful protocol utility. At current rates, even a small deposit secures significant long-term storage or over 100 on-chain health checks, ensuring your vault remains covered without high transaction overhead.
Receipts & Invoicing
Polar automatically handles:
- Email receipts for every transaction
- Standardized invoicing for tax and estate documentation
- Merchant transparency: Payments are processed through verified merchant channels with full dispute protection
For estate attorneys and wealth managers: Polar invoices are accepted as standard business receipts. If you need customized institutional invoicing, contact support@inheribase.com.
Guided Crypto Checkout (MoonPay)
Inheribase leverages MoonPay Commerce to provide a seamless, guided checkout experience for users who want to pay with crypto but prefer a professional web2-style interface.
Supported Assets
While we recommend USDC on Base for the best performance and integration with our smart contracts, MoonPay supports a variety of assets:
| Asset | Network | Efficiency |
|---|---|---|
| USDC | Base Mainnet | Optimal (Instant/Low Fee) |
| ETH | Base Mainnet | High |
| USDC/ETH | Ethereum Mainnet | Standard |
How It Works
- Navigate to Settings → Credits in your dashboard
- Enter your desired top-up amount
- Choose Crypto (via MoonPay)
- A MoonPay Checkout Widget will open
- Complete your transaction by selecting your preferred wallet or entering payment details if purchasing crypto directly
- Credits are automatically detected and deposited once the transaction confirms via MoonPay's webhook
Direct Sovereign Transfer (0% Fee)
For advanced users or those preferring a purely non-custodial, direct-to-protocol path, Inheribase provides the Sovereign Path. By sending USDC directly to the Inheribase Treasury address, you bypass all middleman fees and interfaces.
Benefits
- 0% Protocol Fees: No provider markups. You pay exactly the cost of credits.
- Universal Compatibility: Works from Metamask, Coinbase App, Binance, or any other wallet/exchange.
- Permanent Availability: Does not rely on a third-party API being online.
How It Works
- In the Dashboard, choose Direct Sovereign Transfer (Expert Path)
- 1-Click Transfer: If you have a browser wallet (MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet, etc.) connected, simply click the 1-Click button to authorize the transfer instantly.
- Manual Transfer: Scan the displayed QR Code or copy the Treasury Address to send USDC from an exchange (Binance/Coinbase/Kraken).
- Submit Hash: If sending manually, paste your Transaction Hash into the verification field to clear the credits.
- Once verified, the Inheribase backend autonomously validates the on-chain transfer and applies the credits to your ledger.
Network Continuity: When using direct transfers, only send USDC on Base Mainnet (Chain ID: 8453). Sending tokens on unsupported networks will result in lost funds that Inheribase cannot recover.
